Two minutes break...

It's 9.46pm and I'm still working...but I take a two minutes break to update my blog...how good am I??!!!
We're really excited because we're going to the AC/DC concert in Marseille on the 9th of June! At the same time, we'll be able to see my mum so it will be really great!

I cannot write any longer I'm afraid...the tax returns are waiting for me...

Once again, I let it go...

I am so bad with keeping a blog! I do have the best intentions in the world but i keep on forgetting about it! I remembered I had a blog today when I when on to my cousin's blog (by far the best I've seen...) to wish her a happy birthday.
My problem is that I am missing time..I'm always running late, always thinking about what needs to be done next.
In April my hubby and I stayed in France for a bit more than 3 weeks as unfortunatey my dad passed away. It was by far the most tragic part of my life, but at the same time I felt so loved, it was unreal.
I realised that I had a wonderful family as well as an amazing husband and the best of frined, Cloé.

Now we're back in sunny Spain, where the weather is already hot hot hot (27ºC today). We were to move to Montréal in June but had to reschedule until all my French paperwork are sorted. It might take around 6 months but we believe it is better that way. We won't have to run around for the flat, the job, the flights, the move etc...

While we were in France Cloé took a picture of Arnold, our dog, which I find so funny I had to add it...and I also added another one of him sleeping, much prettier...

Wednesday it's John's birthday and I hope being able to leave work before 10 pm so we can go and have a meal on this boat in Cartagena. It's gorgeous at night and the food is amazing.

Time flies...

It has now been more than a month since I last wrote on my new blog...
I did promise myself to write more regularly, but I failed!
In this last month a lot has happened.
The most tragic event has been with no doubt my nan passing away. She was the most amazing woman I have ever met and I will miss her dearly. But I have to learn to live with her happy memories as it is how she would like me to cope.

On a more cheerful note, I have now told my office that we were moving to Montreal, QC.
My boss was not pleased as she said she wanted me to handle the whole office, but unfortunately, event this tempting offer will not keep me in Spain.

I will be flying to Montreal in a couple of weeks time in order to attend several interviews which will hopefully turn into a new job which will lead to a whole new life.
We're also looking for a flat in the centre of Montreal, but something with caracter as we don't want to feel like in a show house. We've seen several ones which I will be viewing soon...it's pretty exciting really (even though it does sound silly).

This is a first

Over the years I have noticed that more and more people were using blogs as their escape route to confession, friendship or socialising...
I never really felt the urge to write about my life, my passions, but maybe it is time for me to give it a go.
I will probably not update it daily, and I even doubt doing it weekly, but it might be nice just to seat in front of my laptop, by the fire (as the days are getting colder even in Shouthern Spain), and let my fingers dance on the keyboard...

Today I haven't done much as I have been working hard all week.
We came back from London, where we have spent a week (and the New Year), completely exhausted!
We have spent five days in Provence to visit my parents for Christmas before that.

It was nice to be in France, and with my parents during such a family time. I'm also glad my dearest friend Cloé came all the way from Paris to spend two days with us, and to plan my surprise party with my closest friends from high school...we had not been reunited for almost six years!

It was a magical time...and I love her for that!

We are now in January and my darling husband and I are making plans for the future...
There are a lot of things we want to achieve during 2009, and we want to involve Nathan and Spencer as much as we can.
